Kikis Briggs Profile

BACKGROUND
The man Kikis was born to the Briggs family of Abonnema in Kalabari town of Rivers State on the 24th of March, 1983. As may not be known by many, my full given name is Tubokikiba Kikis Briggs and i am the second son of my parents among many siblings in my family. The Briggs family is a fairly large and popular family in kalabari land and in Rivers State at large.

FAMILY LIFE
Tubokikiba Kikis Brigss is happily married to his heartthrob and friend Elizabeth Kikis Briggs who both walked down the aisle to take the marital vows on the 15TH of August, 2015 and they are blessed with two lovely kids: Silver Kikis Briggs (daughter) and Bryant Kikis Briggs (son).

EDUCATION
Tubokikiba Kikis Briggs started his primary education in Community Primary School, Abonnema and went on to attend Community Secondary School also in Abonnema his home town.

He however completed his secondary education at Chucks Comprehensive College Choba, in the year 2000. In same year, Kikis Briggs gained admission into the prestigious University of Port Harcourt where he studied Mechanical Engineering.

MUSICAL CAREER
Growing up as a child, Tobokikiba Kikis Briggs has always had passion for music. This made him to join various music groups while growing up which helped to shape his talent and skills. Kikis Briggs formally began his professional music career in 2005. Though there were challenges that faced him at that time of which most notably he remembers his mother’s strong objection to his choice of career but he remained steadfast and persistent in his pursuit. It is worth noting that the reverse is the case now as he enjoys the blessings, and support of his mother and the entire family following his doggedness to conquer all odds, and his eventual success in the industry.

His first single titled “IRIAWOEH” featuring Rymzo was released in the year 2007. This single was a huge success as it gained massive popularity in the streets and airwaves. It was this single that brought him to limelight and established him as a force to reckon with in the music industry, especially in the South-South region.

His second single “GBUMADU” was released in 2010 and he has released his most recent single titled “ALATA BAM BAM” FT SOLID STAR; and “MERCEDEZ” FT JOE EL AMADI, and X ADAZ.

Tobokikiba Kikis Briggs being a force to reckon with in the music industry has done some notable collaborations with popular A-List musicians within and outside the country, which includes: The remix of “IRIAWOEH” in 2007 with TIMAYA, “SOUND OF MUSIC” in 2007 with DUNCAN MIGHTY, and “NEVER TOO LATE” with JACK TLALA in South Africa in 2016.

He has since gone on to release 3 albums titled “TRUST NOBODY” in 2006, “MESSAGE TO MAMA” (M2M) in 2010 and “HOME & ABROAD” in 2013. He recently also released the music videos of some of his commercial hit songs, the videos being shot in various locations in Europe and Asia. It is also very pleasing to announce that his forthcoming most anticipated musical album is billed to be released soon.

BUSINESS
Tobokikiba Kikis Briggs is not just a talented musician. He is also prolific business man with his tentacles widely spread in Event Management, Clothing, urban fashion, and lifestyle accessories. He is the CEO and chairman of Tubkiks Multipurpose, an international business conglomerate with branches in Asia, South Africa, West Africa and Europe etc. The Event management wing of his company provides Lights, Sound, stage and logistics to the entertainment industry within the South-South region and beyond.

MENTOR
According to the words of Lailah Gifty Akita “Every great achiever is inspired by a great mentor”. Without saying the least, this truly expresses the role that Bro. Felix Obuah has played in the life of Kikis Briggs. Bro. Felix Obuah has not just been a mentor, he has been and still is a father, a feather, and a strong support both financial, politically, morally and other wise. It is worth knowing that Bro. Felix Obuah, was the Instrument God used to nominate and make Kikis Briggs the supervisor for youth and sports in ——-. Bro. Felix has demonstrated tremendous love towards Kikis Briggs and has always inspired him to be the best in the music industry. Kikis Briggs is a talented music star who has worked with many notable artistes and producers and loves to support the talents and crafts industry at every given opportunity. He is very generous and has helped a lot of musicians in the past to climb up the ladder of success. He also provides empowerment and employment to many youths through these structures.

The singer who is also rated as one of the best dressed and trendy artistes within the South-South region in recent times hinted that besides his clothing line and music career, his passion also lies in supporting the less fortunate members of the society as a way of giving back to the society and contributing his quota to humanity, with this singular fact in mind, he established the Kikis Briggs Foundation (KBF).

Kikis Briggs is not only a musician and business person, He is a humanitarian who would go at any length to alleviate the sufferings of his people.

“MY dream for rivers state is to redirect the mind set of rivers youths and make them entrepreneurs to make them employers of labor, make them be better persons in the nearest future and eradicate cultism, prostitution and vices entirely.

I wish to be one of the leaders in Nigeria and reach out to the ordinary man savage the awful system carried out by the present leaders.”
